Uncountable Inc.

Uncountable Inc. builds an AI-powered platform unifying ELN, LIMS, PLM and machine learning to manage scientific and experimental R&D data for global enterprises.

Uncountable Inc., founded in 2016 by engineers from MIT and Stanford, builds an AI-powered platform for managing scientific and experimental R&D data. The company's stated mission is to accelerate R&D by an order of magnitude, a goal pursued by replacing fragmented spreadsheets, disconnected notebooks and legacy systems with a single, structured environment for capturing and analysing experimental data.

The Uncountable Platform combines an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and AI/ML capabilities in one system, covering the path from ideation to commercialisation. The technical work spans machine learning, scientific data management, laboratory informatics, data integration and structured experimental data capture, applied to large, heterogeneous datasets produced by laboratory research.

Uncountable serves global enterprises across chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotech, advanced materials and food and beverage; named customers include Dow, Syngenta, Beiersdorf, Clariant and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The platform is designed to let scientists collaborate across global teams and to reduce manual data handling.
