Labric
Labric, founded in 2025, builds a data platform that unifies lab instruments, spreadsheets and databases into an AI-ready data layer with natural-language querying for research labs.
Labric is a data platform company founded in 2025 that builds infrastructure for scientific research labs. Its product, the Labric Data Platform, consolidates data from lab instruments, spreadsheets and databases into a centralized, AI-ready data layer, structuring and normalising it so that researchers can query it in natural language and run cross-experiment analysis. The system supports automatic ingestion from more than 300 instruments and can return results in as little as 8 seconds.
The technical work spans data integration and ingestion, data structuring and normalization, natural language querying over structured data, and machine learning applied across the data stack. A stated design principle is that the platform should not disrupt existing lab workflows; another is that AI is integrated at every layer of the product. Enterprise-grade data infrastructure is offered at academic-friendly pricing.
Labric was founded by siblings Connor and Caitlin Hogan, both Stanford graduates with backgrounds in computer science and scientific data systems. The company went through the Y Combinator Spring 2025 batch, with Kleiner Perkins among its investors. It operates in the United States and serves academic institutions, biotech companies and DOE national labs.
