Lyte
Lyte builds end-to-end vision systems for Physical AI, unifying sensing, compute and software to deliver low-latency 4D perception for robots across multiple form factors.
Lyte builds the perception layer for Physical AI: end-to-end vision systems that combine sensing, compute and software so that robots can see, understand and operate safely in the physical world. The company was founded in 2021 by former Apple Face ID engineers and emerged from stealth having raised $107m.
The company's technical work concentrates on 4D perception, sensor fusion and low-latency AI inference at the edge. Its unified stack converts raw sensor data into intelligent action on the device, delivering ultra-low latency processing of dense 4D data and reliable perception across varying weather, lighting and terrain conditions - addressing what it describes as a long-standing perception gap in robotics.
Lyte's platform is designed to support five form factors: autonomous mobile robots, robotic arms, quadrupeds, robotaxis and humanoids. Relevant technical domains include computer vision, edge AI processing, robotics perception and autonomous systems, with applications spanning industrial automation, autonomous vehicles and humanoid robotics.
