Humble Robotics

Humble Robotics builds fully autonomous electric haulers using vision-language-action models and lightweight hardware to make commercial freight cheaper and more efficient.

Humble Robotics applies physical AI to commercial freight. Founded in 2025 and based in San Francisco, the company develops fully autonomous, electric haulers intended to make freight transportation more efficient and less costly. Its work spans vision-language-action (VLA) models, autonomous driving, robotics, lightweight hardware design and electric vehicle engineering, with a focus on the most difficult freight routes and on improving carrier margins.

The flagship product, the Humble Hauler, is a cabless autonomous electric truck built from the ground up rather than adapted from an existing tractor-trailer design. It pairs VLA models with robust, lightweight hardware on a universal platform supporting multiple vehicle configurations. Removing the cab makes the vehicle significantly lighter than a traditional Class 8 tractor, which in turn allows greater payload capacity.

The company emerged from stealth in April 2026 with $24 million in seed funding from Eclipse and Energy Impact Partners. The team combines engineering and logistics experience, with alumni from Google, Uber, Apple, Tesla and Rivian.
