WEKA

WEKA builds AI-native, cloud- and hardware-agnostic data platform software that removes storage bottlenecks for AI, ML and HPC workloads.

WEKA develops a high-performance, AI-native data platform designed to remove storage bottlenecks from artificial intelligence, machine learning and high-performance computing workloads. Founded in 2013 by three Israeli entrepreneurs - Liran Zvibel, Maor Ben-Dayan and Omri Palmon - the company is headquartered in Campbell, California, and operates globally. Its stated focus is on the memory wall that limits GPU utilisation and, more broadly, the pace of AI development.

The company's principal product, the WEKA Data Platform, is cloud- and hardware-agnostic software intended for AI and accelerated-compute environments, built around speed, simplicity and sustainability. NeuralMesh, a newer offering, is positioned as a next step in AI data infrastructure, aimed at agentic AI workloads and at raising GPU utilisation. The technical scope spans data storage and file systems, GPU acceleration, cloud-native software, scalable data platforms and HPC.

WEKA holds more than 140 patents and reports adoption at scale: its software supports hundreds of the world's largest AI and accelerated-compute deployments, and more than 30% of Fortune 50 enterprises are among its customers. The company has raised more than $375m in funding and serves verticals including artificial intelligence, machine learning, high-performance computing, hyperscale and cloud computing, and neoclouds.
