EvolutionIQ

EvolutionIQ develops explainable Claims Guidance AI that gives insurance adjusters Next Best Action guidance, including LLM-powered medical synthesis, for disability and workers' compensation claims.

EvolutionIQ builds Claims Guidance AI, a decision-support platform that tells insurance claims adjusters which claims to work on next and what action to take. The company, founded in 2019 and now more than 200 employees, serves the majority of U.S. disability carriers and a growing list of workers' compensation carriers worldwide. Its stated approach is to amplify human judgment rather than replace it, with the underlying models designed to be explainable to the adjusters who act on their output.

The technical work spans artificial intelligence and machine learning, explainable AI, and LLM-powered features. Among these is medical synthesis built on large language models and NLP, used inside claims-handling workflows. The platform is a scalable, multi-line-of-business system requiring full-stack web application development alongside the modelling itself. Engineers work closely with data scientists and insurance domain experts.

Engineering values emphasise simplicity, transparency and continuous learning, with an expectation of moving quickly while maintaining code quality, testing and maintainability. The team is distributed across the United States, Europe and Australia. The founding team numbered three people.
