Axiom
Axiom builds zero-knowledge proof infrastructure, including the open-source OpenVM zkVM framework and a production-ready ZK proving API for developers.
Axiom builds infrastructure for zero-knowledge proofs, giving developers the tooling to build applications on ZK technology. Its work spans zero-knowledge proofs, zero-knowledge virtual machines (zkVMs), cryptography, formal verification, proving systems, and instruction set architecture and toolchain design, with an emphasis on making advanced ZK cryptography usable without specialist infrastructure.
The company's products are OpenVM, an open-source modular zkVM framework that lets developers verify the correct execution of arbitrary computer programs. OpenVM is designed for modularity and extensibility across the ISA, the toolchain and ZK proving systems, so teams can tailor ZK to a specific application. The framework reports sub-300 kB proof sizes and formally verified zkVM correctness. Alongside it, the Axiom Proving API provides production-ready ZK proof generation at scale with 100-bit provable security.
Technical work concentrates on cryptography, formal verification, proving systems and developer tooling for the crypto and fintech sectors. OpenVM is developed as an open-source project, and the company is currently expanding its team.
Axiom has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by Paradigm and Standard Crypto. Further details, including founding year and team size, are available at https://axiom.xyz/.
