Axiado

Axiado secures digital infrastructure by embedding AI into silicon, with a system-on-chip combining Root of Trust, BMC, TPM, HSM and firewall functions for real-time threat detection.

Axiado builds security into digital infrastructure at the hardware level, embedding artificial intelligence directly into silicon to provide preemptive, real-time threat detection. The company targets cloud data centres, 5G networks and accelerated computing platforms, addressing a problem in which threats can remain hidden in systems for hundreds of days. Its technical work spans hardware-anchored platform security, system-on-chip design and defences against side-channel exploits, ransomware and supply-chain attacks.

The firm's principal product is the Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU), a system-on-chip that combines Root of Trust, Baseboard Management Controller, Trusted Platform Module, Hardware Security Module and firewall capabilities on a single chip protected by AI-driven threat detection. The TCU is designed to detect and stop attacks in real time while also improving data centre efficiency: dynamic thermal management reduces energy consumption by up to 50%.

Axiado has raised over $100m in funding and has been named by Fast Company as one of the world's most innovative companies. It works with strategic partners including Jabil and Gigabyte, with the stated aim of making AI-driven platform security an industry default.
