Cylake

Cylake builds an air-gapped cybersecurity platform combining rack-mounted hardware, a unified security data lake and on-board AI compute for governments and regulated institutions.

Cylake is building a vertically integrated cybersecurity platform for organizations that cannot move their data to the public cloud. The system combines rack-mounted hardware, software, a unified security data lake and on-board AI compute into a single architecture, replacing a fragmented set of tools with one ingestion and detection pipeline. All data remains on customer premises, including in fully air-gapped deployments with no public internet connection, and the company reports threat investigation times measured in seconds.

The hardware consists of stackable rack-mounted appliances that scale by stacking and operate like a private-cloud deployment. Together with the software layer, they support security ingestion and detection, threat investigation, fine-grained security policy enforcement and AI inference performed on-board rather than in the cloud.

Founded in 2026 by Nir Zuk, founder of Palo Alto Networks, Wilson Xu and Ehud "Udi" Shamir, Cylake is currently in product development and works with design partners among the world's largest and most regulated institutions. Its target customers include government agencies, defense contractors, critical infrastructure operators and regulated sectors such as financial services.
