The ZEDEDA Edge Orchestration Platform is built on an open, vendor-agnostic architecture that leverages EVE-OS from the Linux Foundation. The company reports that the platform reduces the cost of managing edge infrastructure by 60% and cuts deployment time by 77%. Deployments include fleet-wide IoT connectivity for Maersk and monitoring of more than 300 solar farms for PV Hardware, processing IoT data close to its source to avoid bandwidth constraints and enable real-time decision-making.

ZEDEDA reports thousands of nodes under management, edge nodes deployed across some 70,000 service centres and deployments in over 150 countries, with 12 global and Fortune 500 customers among its client base. The company has raised $72m in growth capital and has been named a Leader in the GigaOm Radar Report. Its stated approach emphasises open architecture, intrinsic security at the edge and breaking down silos across connected operations.
