Extreme Networks, founded in 1996, builds end-to-end, cloud-driven enterprise networking solutions intended to simplify, secure and unify networking infrastructure for firms undergoing digital transformation. Its technical work spans wired and wireless networking, SD-WAN, network security, network management and automation, and the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to those domains. The company says it has been in operation for more than 25 years and serves over 50,000 customers globally.

The firm's principal product is Extreme Platform ONE, which it describes as the industry's first fully integrated AI-powered networking platform.
