Tagup is an MIT-founded defense technology company applying AI and machine learning to military and industrial logistics through its Manifest platform.

Tagup is a defense technology company founded at MIT that applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to military and industrial logistics. The company builds what it describes as an operating system for the physical world, intended to keep military forces supplied, maintained and mission-ready in contested environments. Its co-founders, Jon Garrity and Will Vega-Brown, met as MIT undergrads.

Its flagship product, Manifest, integrates equipment data into consolidated equipment records, applies machine learning to predict equipment failures before they occur, and directly controls large-scale industrial equipment and logistics systems. Technical work spans predictive maintenance, logistics optimization, industrial equipment control systems, data integration and the development of new machine learning methods.

Tagup serves defense customers as well as the world's largest equipment operators, across the United States and allied nations. The company is at Series A stage. Relevant sectors include defense, military logistics, critical infrastructure, industrial equipment operations and logistics more broadly.
