Gallatin

Gallatin builds AI-powered defence logistics and sustainment software, including decision support, secure 3PL and sensor-based asset visibility tools.

Gallatin is an American defence software company founded in 2024 by Woody Glier, Daniel Buchmueller and Brian Ballard. It builds AI-powered logistics and sustainment software intended to replace reactive workflows with predictive, automated decision-making across tactical, operational and strategic levels. The company operates in the defence, military logistics and government/DoD verticals, with a stated focus on national security and on emerging and asymmetric threats.

Its technical work spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, predictive analytics, supply chain optimisation, decision support systems and sensor hardware. Three products anchor the offering: Navigator, an AI-powered decision support tool for defence logistics planners; Burrow, a DoD-secure and compliant third-party logistics (3PL) solution; and Phalanx, which provides automated asset visibility using hardware sensors and computer vision, drawing on RFID sensing and 3PL logistics software.

The company has raised $15m in seed funding and holds 'Awardable' status on the DoD Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. Named industry partners include Palantir and Booz Allen Hamilton. Gallatin is based in the United States.
