Pathos

Pathos is a clinical-stage biotechnology company applying artificial intelligence to drug development in precision oncology. Its central product is a next-generation development engine that combines AI technology, biological modelling and a large collection of oncology patient data, with the aim of making clinical trials smarter, faster and more precise.

At the core of the platform is a proprietary oncology data model connecting genomics, transcriptomics, medical imaging, clinical text and longitudinal clinical outcomes across millions of patient records. Thousands of AI agents analyse these data, simulate trial scenarios and identify the patient populations most likely to respond to particular therapies; to date, thousands of trial scenarios have been simulated. Technical domains span multi-agent AI systems, genomics, transcriptomics, imaging analysis, clinical data analytics and clinical trial optimisation.

The company operates with small teams of subject-matter experts, each commanding hundreds of AI agents to execute work at scale. The model is designed to be repeatable: each trial feeds the next, compounding the value of the underlying data, and trial design is de-risked through data-driven analysis rather than intuition alone.
