Omnea

Omnea builds an AI-native procurement platform covering source-to-pay, spend control and third-party risk, using conversational intake, automated approvals and supplier data tools.

Omnea is an AI-native procurement platform, founded in 2022 and built from the ground up around artificial intelligence rather than retrofitted with it. The company's software addresses the source-to-pay lifecycle, using AI to control spend and manage third-party risk across an organisation's supplier relationships. It applies machine learning and workflow automation to problems typically handled through spreadsheets, email chains and manual approvals, including conversational interfaces for purchase requests and supplier data management through a self-service portal.

The Omnea Platform covers the full source-to-pay cycle, embedding governance and compliance risk management into each step. Its component parts include Intelligent Intake, a conversational interface through which employees submit purchase requests; automated approval workflows that route requests according to configurable rules; and a Supplier Portal through which suppliers maintain their own records. Reported outcomes include an average of $747,000 in savings per customer, with 93.7% of spend under control.

The company has raised $75M in total funding, with investors including Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners and Accel. It operates on a global basis across enterprise procurement, spend management and third-party risk management. Omnea was founded by Ben Freeman and Ben Allen, both formerly of Tessian, with a stated aim of freeing skilled staff from manual administrative workflows.
