Mach9
Mach9 builds AI-powered geospatial tools that turn reality capture and LiDAR data into high-precision 3D maps and engineering-ready CAD and GIS deliverables.
Mach9 builds AI-powered geospatial tools for civil infrastructure design. Its machine learning models convert reality capture datasets into high-precision 3D maps and engineering-ready deliverables, working across LiDAR data analysis, computer vision and feature extraction, and 3D mapping. The company's technology is applied to survey and geospatial services, transportation agencies and telecom, with a worldwide geographic presence.
The flagship platform, Digital Surveyor, analyses LiDAR data to extract line and point features such as paint lines, curbs and utility poles, producing CAD and GIS deliverables without manual drafting. Reported results include a 96× reduction in manual drafting time, delivery up to 30× faster at half the cost, and more than 23,000 miles of road infrastructure extracted to date.
Mach9 is backed by Y Combinator and Quiet Capital, along with industry leaders from Cruise, Autodesk, Adobe and DoorDash. The company partners with hardware manufacturers including Riegl, Trimble, Leica and NavVis, and concentrates on engineering-grade outputs for infrastructure-critical work.
