Gatik AI

Gatik AI builds Level 4 autonomous trucks for fixed middle-mile routes between distribution centres and retail stores across North America.

Gatik AI develops Level 4 autonomous trucks for middle-mile logistics. Its system, Gatik Driver™, is built for fixed, repeatable regional routes between distribution centres and retail stores, and is designed to operate fully driverless on those runs. The company concentrates on a narrow operational domain - known roads, known destinations - rather than general-purpose autonomy.

The technology is in commercial use rather than trial: the firm describes itself as the first in the United States to operate driverless trucks at commercial scale. More than 60,000 fully driverless deliveries have been completed without an incident. Customers include Fortune 50 retailers such as Walmart, Kroger and Loblaw, with operations across multiple states in the United States and a North American footprint.

The engineering work spans autonomous driving systems, autonomous systems engineering and middle-mile freight operations, applied to retail, grocery and supply-chain distribution. The company describes its approach as pragmatic and engineering-driven, with an emphasis on reliability, safety and real deployment over experimentation.
