Flipturn, founded in 2022, builds a unified EV charging management platform that serves as a control centre for large-scale charging infrastructure. The software gives fleet operators, property managers and commercial businesses real-time visibility into charger health and status, along with direct control over charger power output and the ability to optimise electricity usage. The company operates in the United States and Canada.

The Flipturn EV Charging Management Platform is designed for organisations running charging at scale, from bus and transit fleets, trucking and parcel logistics to waste management, light-duty fleets, autonomous vehicles, retail and grocery, commercial real estate and municipal government. The product is trusted by Fortune 500 businesses and fleets; named customers include Republic Services, Loblaws, Purolator, the City of Seattle, Swift Transportation, Werner Enterprises and Greystar.

Flipturn has raised $11 million in Series A funding. The company was founded by alumni of MIT, Samsara, Stripe and Google, with the stated aim of accelerating EV adoption by replacing legacy software that its founders considered ill-suited to the electrification of commercial transportation.
