Fieldpiece Instruments designs and manufactures professional-grade tools and instruments for the HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) industry. Founded in 1990 by Rey Harju around a stick meter with detachable heads, the company began in a garage in Orange County, California, and is now headquartered in Anaheim, with additional operations across California, Utah and Georgia, and a European headquarters and warehouse in England opened in 2017.

The company's engineering work spans connected and software-driven instrumentation alongside traditional measurement hardware. Technical domains include wireless probe and connected IoT technologies, AI-enabled solutions, digital manifold design and manufacturing, electronic measurement, refrigerant recovery and evacuation, leak detection, and combustion analysis. Product lines comprise digital manifolds, the Job Link wireless probe system, multimeters, clamp meters, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, leak detectors and combustion analyzers.

Fieldpiece also operates Fieldpiece University, an online learning platform for HVACR technicians that offers NATE credits.
