Beacon Biosignals
Beacon Biosignals builds an AI platform for EEG data analysis across the drug development lifecycle, supporting clinical trials and home sleep diagnostics in neurology and psychiatry.
Beacon Biosignals builds an AI-driven neurotechnology platform for precision medicine in neurological and psychiatric diseases. Its work centres on collecting, integrating and analysing EEG data across the full drug development lifecycle, in order to make brain function measurable and actionable at scale. The company's technical reach spans machine learning, biomarker discovery, cloud-native analytics, sleep diagnostics and neurophysiology.
Its flagship product, Waveband, powers clinical trials and home sleep diagnostics, enabling multi-night EEG collection in patients' natural sleep environments; the platform has supported more than 40 clinical trials to date. Data acquisition runs through the Dreem 3S headband, an EEG device with FDA 510(k) clearance. The cloud-native analytics platform has processed more than 2m hours of EEG data, and the company describes its aim as building the world's largest clinically validated neurophysiology dataset.
Beacon Biosignals works with pharmaceutical companies, sleep physicians and academic and clinical researchers, spanning drug development, clinical trials, sleep medicine, neurology and psychiatry. Its stated focus is on precision medicine and personalised therapies, and on accelerating treatments to reach the right patients faster.
