Warp builds an AI-native employee management platform that automates payroll, compliance and benefits, with AI agents that complete entire workflows end to end.
Warp is building an AI-native employee management platform that automates payroll, compliance, and benefits for high-growth companies. Rather than producing recommendations for human operators, Warp's AI agents take ownership of entire workflows end to end: opening state tax accounts when new hires start, and resolving tax and compliance notices without human intervention. The technical work spans AI agents, workflow automation, payroll technology, compliance automation and benefits administration.
The platform processes more than half a billion dollars ($500M+) in payroll annually. The company has raised over $85M in funding, with backing from Y Combinator, Sound Ventures (Ashton Kutcher), Battery Ventures and the founders of Dropbox and Replit. Team members come from MIT, Ramp, Brex, Google, Dropbox and Apple.
Warp is headquartered in New York City's Flatiron district and works in the office five days a week, treating speed and proximity as a competitive advantage at this stage of the company. It hires people who ship constantly, own outcomes and care about craft, with the stated aim of automating an entire category of core work rather than building a point solution.
