Velera is a payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and integrated financial technology provider serving credit unions and financial institutions across North America. Founded in 1977, the company supplies payment processing, fraud prevention and digital banking capabilities to more than 4,000 financial institutions, handling nearly 16 billion transactions a year. It was established to enable credit unions to offer payment services to their members, and its stated mission is to equip them with financial technology solutions as the industry evolves.
