SRI International

SRI International is an independent nonprofit research institute founded in 1946. Based in Silicon Valley with a presence in Tokyo, the organisation translates scientific research into commercial applications for government and commercial clients worldwide. It employs approximately 1,500 researchers and professional staff and manages over 500 R&D projects annually.

The institute works across several technical domains, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, health, climate and sustainability, security, and space exploration. SRI's track record includes more than 13,000 patents generated and the creation of over 50 spin-off companies.
