Redis

Redis develops an in-memory database platform for caching, vector search and NoSQL workloads, delivered as managed cloud, on-premises and open source editions.

Redis, founded in 2011, develops an in-memory database platform used for caching, vector search, NoSQL data storage and real-time streaming. The company's work spans the engineering problems associated with low-latency data access at scale, including session management, real-time application data paths, and cloud and on-premises data infrastructure. Its client libraries are maintained for Python, Node.js, Java, Go, .NET, Ruby, Rust, PHP and C.

Three products constitute the offering. Redis Cloud is a fully managed cloud database service; Redis Software covers on-premises and hybrid deployments; and Redis Open Source is the open source edition of the database, reflecting the company's origins. Both Redis Cloud and Redis Software deliver sub-millisecond read/write performance at scale.

Redis reports more than 10,000 customers globally and cites its position as the number one brand for caching solutions worldwide. Its platform underpins applications used by millions of people daily, among them weather checks, credit card transactions and flight status updates. Customers are drawn from financial services, e-commerce, gaming, healthcare and telecommunications.
