Prophet Security

Prophet Security builds the Prophet AI Agentic AI SOC Platform, a system designed to emulate the work of expert security analysts. The platform gathers and analyses data across sources to triage, investigate and respond to security alerts automatically, while documenting the reasoning behind each decision. It is intended to integrate into existing security operations workflows rather than replace them.

The technical work spans agentic AI, machine-learning reasoning, data integration and analysis, and automated incident response. According to the company, the platform reduces investigation time by 90% and achieves a 98.5% accuracy rate for customers; it has prevented more than 400,000 hours of manual toil. Alert fatigue and analyst workload in security operations centres are the specific problems the product addresses.

Prophet Security was founded by Kamal Shah and Vibhav Sreekanti, who came from the security operations world, and the company describes itself as built by security operators for security operators. Before building the product, the founders interviewed more than 100 CISOs and other security leaders. Emphasis is placed on transparency into every AI decision and on protecting customer data. The company operates in the cybersecurity, SOC and enterprise IT security sectors.
