PODS Enterprises, founded in 1998, provides portable moving and storage containers delivered to customers' doorsteps, together with transportation and secure storage services for residential and commercial customers. The company operates in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and employs more than 2,000 associates across more than 25 years of operation.

Its core offering is a range of weather-resistant, ground-level portable containers in three sizes - 8-foot, 12-foot and 16-foot - delivered to the customer's doorstep so that packing can proceed at the customer's own pace. The first 30 days are included in the price. PODS handles transportation of the containers to the destination or to its own storage facilities, and maintains a network of more than 240 Storage Centers where containers can be kept.

The company reports having completed more than 7 million moves, including more than 2 million long-distance moves. Its footprint covers 46 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces. Services span residential and commercial moving and storage, as well as logistics.
