Planera

Planera is a construction scheduling software company founded in 2021 and headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. It provides a collaborative online platform for visual CPM-based construction project planning and management, combining the capabilities of traditional tools such as Oracle Primavera P6 with digital whiteboard interfaces designed for everyday use by construction teams. The platform supports schedule building, management and optimisation across the project lifecycle, from pursuit through operations.

The Planera Platform covers a range of scheduling functions, among them CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling, real-time collaboration, resource loading, risk simulation and DCMA quality checks. Manny, a second product, provides AI-powered scheduling assistance. The company reports more than 25 million days scheduled on its platform, with a tenfold increase in days scheduled since the start of 2024.

Planera raised $13.5 million in a Series A funding round. The company states that it is SOC 2 Type II compliant, reflecting an emphasis on security and compliance alongside its focus on collaborative, user-friendly product design.
