Mythic

Mythic builds Analog Processing Units that merge compute and memory for energy-efficient AI inference, targeting data centres, automotive, robotics and defence.

Mythic is a high-performance analog computing company founded in 2012. It develops Analog Processing Units (APUs) that collapse compute and memory into a single plane, storing AI parameters directly in the processor rather than in separate memory. The approach is designed to remove the memory bottlenecks of digital architectures and to cut the energy cost of AI inference.

The company's M1076 APU delivers up to 25 TOPS of compute. Mythic states that its chips are up to 100 times more energy efficient than industry-standard GPUs. The technology is targeted at edge-to-enterprise deployment, with applications across data centres, automotive, robotics and defence, and partnerships with major automotive and defence companies.

Mythic has raised over $125 million from investors including DCVC, NEA, BlackRock, Honda Motors and Lockheed Martin. It operates from three sites: its headquarters in Austin, Texas, an office in Palo Alto, California, and a further office in Bangalore, India.
