LeafLink
LeafLink operates a B2B cannabis platform for wholesale ordering, payments, logistics and banking, serving over 12,000 companies across 30+ North American markets.
LeafLink runs the largest unified B2B cannabis platform, giving licensed cannabis businesses technology to manage ordering, payments and logistics across the sales-to-cash process. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in New York City, with regional hubs in Los Angeles and Austin, the company operates a remote-first setup across North America. The platform serves more than 12,000 companies in over 30 markets and processes upwards of $5 billion in wholesale cannabis orders annually.
The core product is LeafLink Marketplace, a B2B wholesale marketplace linking licensed brands and retailers, which the company says captures more than 50% of the U.S. wholesale cannabis market. Around it sit LeafLink Payments, for processing wholesale transactions; LeafLink Logistics, for distribution management; LeafLink Advertising, which lets brands reach retailers on the platform; and LeafLink Data / Insights, an analytics offering for cannabis businesses. In 2024 the company acquired Dama Financial, a cannabis banking platform intended to provide compliant banking options to customers.
The engineering work spans B2B marketplace and e-commerce systems, payments processing, logistics technology, advertising technology, data analytics, and banking and fintech infrastructure. LeafLink is backed by investors including Founders Fund, Thrive Capital, Nosara Capital and Lerer Hippeau. It has been named one of Fast Company's Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Enterprise and one of Built In NYC's Best Places to Work.
