HoYoverse, founded in 2011 as miHoYo, develops technology-driven video games and virtual worlds. The company was established by three creators in Shanghai, China, and now employs over 3,500 people across nine locations worldwide. Its stated ambition is to build a virtual world for one billion people by 2030.
