Doximity

Doximity operates the largest professional medical network in the United States, providing a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for clinical messaging, fax, telehealth and AI-assisted care.

Doximity runs the largest professional medical network in the United States. Founded in 2010 and operating in the American market, the company provides a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform on which physicians and other healthcare professionals connect with colleagues, coordinate care, fax patient records and conduct telehealth visits from their mobile devices. The network is used by more than 3 million healthcare professionals, including over 80% of U.S. doctors and roughly half of all nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

The engineering work spans mobile applications, secure clinical messaging, digital fax and patient-record exchange, telehealth infrastructure, and voice technology. Doximity Dialer allows clinicians to call patients from personal phones without exposing their own numbers. DoxGPT, an AI-powered clinical intelligence tool, provides support at the point of care. Other products include Residency Navigator, which helps medical students evaluate residency programmes, and the company's Physician Compensation Reports.

The company describes its mission as reducing clinician burden and returning time to patient care, with a physician-centric approach to building tools that address specific workflow problems in clinical practice. Its team includes health-tech leaders from institutions such as Stanford, UCSF and the Cleveland Clinic.
