Confido

Confido builds an AI operating system for CPG brands selling into brick-and-mortar retail, unifying accounting, finance, sales and operations on one platform.

Confido builds an AI operating system for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands that sell into brick-and-mortar retail. The Confido Platform brings accounting, finance, sales and operations workflows onto a single source of truth, covering cash application, deductions and disputes management, trade promotion management, forecasting and demand planning, and analytics. Its technical work spans AI/ML, workflow automation, forecasting, demand planning and analytics applied to financial operations software.

The scale of the data involved is substantial. The platform processes millions of transactions annually and forecasts billions of dollars in retail sales, and more than $20 billion in collective revenue is managed on it. Over 200 CPG brands are customers, among them OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, Baskin Robbins and Tropicana. The verticals served include CPG, brick-and-mortar retail, food and beverage, and consumer brands.

Confido raised a $20 million Series A led by Footwork Ventures, with support from Y Combinator. The company is headquartered in New York City and works from an in-office culture there. Co-founders include Justin Hunter, a Harvard graduate, and Kara Holinski, an alumna of MIT.
