Coherent Aerospace & Defense is a division of Coherent, formerly II-VI Incorporated, that designs, fabricates, integrates and tests advanced optical and photonic solutions. Its work spans optical design and engineering, thin film coatings, diamond turning, infrared optics and space-based optical systems such as telescopes and precision optical assemblies built for demanding military and aerospace environments.
