Campfire

Campfire is an AI-native enterprise resource planning (ERP) company founded in 2023, building software for high-growth finance teams. Its platform automates mission-critical accounting workflows, including reconciliations, accruals, flux analysis, bank transaction matching and revenue recognition. The system supports unlimited entities globally, more than 180 currencies and over 100 native integrations.

Of particular note to machine-learning practitioners is LAM (Large Accounting Model), described as the first ERP-native AI model trained exclusively on accounting data, which reports accuracy of 95% or more on key accounting tasks. The company also offers Ember AI, an intelligent accounting teammate embedded within the platform. The technical work spans large language models, financial workflow automation, multi-entity consolidation and multi-currency systems.

Campfire has raised over $100m and reports 10x revenue growth year to date, with a customer base running to hundreds of clients. The company is backed by Y Combinator, with investors including Accel, Ribbit Capital and Foundation Capital. It operates across verticals including finance and accounting, enterprise software and SaaS.
